I’ve been rolling out the sticky rectangle of magic that is my yoga mat for a personal practice since 1995 and qualified to teach in 2015. From London originally, I currently live in Old Aberdeen with my teenage son, sharing my love of both Hatha and Yin yoga in venues across the City and Shire. Both practices work well along-side each other and blend beautifully into a sort of ‘yinfusion’ bringing about a balance of strength, flexibility, focus, awareness and stillness. I truly believe that, like most things in life, yoga is all about hitting that sweet and harmonious balance between yin and yang!

I have been practicing yoga from 19 years old and practiced yoga for over 20 years before taking the plunge to teach. I’m a British Wheel of Yoga teacher (500hrs), teaching since 2018, my love of yoga and learning continues.
I weave in different aspects of my learning into classes, Hatha, somatic movement and restorative yoga being my core offering - especially true (and needed) as we move through the more nurturing seasons from autumn to winter. I enjoy flowing with the cyclical nature of seasons, moons, women’s cycles & Celtic wheel, makes perfect sense for me.
I believe a regular yoga practice can help you move in a more fluid, balanced way, helping to keep you mobile into old age, and helping keep some stability in a pretty shaky world!
I’m also the Grampian region rep for BWY & a current member of Grampian Yoga Association.
